We are compiling a list of all the Bush Reserves in the Roleystone Area. Some of these Reserves are managed by the Armadale City Council and some are managed by the Department of Conservation and Environment. Although not widely know, these Reserves are for the public. Roleybushcare will be adding to the information over time.
Roleystone has many Reserves. Most of the smaller Reserves are in the urban zone but there are some larger Reserves surrounding the urban centre of Roleystone.
The map below contains a history of dieback treatment. Find the reserve name in the scrollable menu (reserve names are red). Click the "small arrow" at the end of the reserve name to zoom the map to that area. Click the red pin on the map, or the shaded area of larger reserves to get treatment dates.
Below is a key map of Roleystone, mainly of the urban zone.
Click on the large map in the area you are interested in. This will give an enlargement which will give you the names of the Reserves.
To find the location of the Reserves (such as Stinton Cascades Nature Reserve, Canning Mills Reserves, Roley Pool Reserves etc.) go to the list further down the page. If you click on the name of the Reserve you want, you will find a map.
All information about our maps should always be verified with the City of Armadale.
