We will be finishing this reserve. The area to be treated will be from Hall Road to Lockyer Rise/Trevor Court.

The trailer will be parked in Lockyer Drive.

Park in Lockyer or along Hall road and walk up. 

Morning tea provided and all welcome.

Note: If the weather is unsafe we will cancel so please check the website on the morning of the field day at 8.00am for any cancellation notice or ring Tim on 0431424199.

Description

These Reserves can be accessed by numerous other roads. There is no road access from Trevor Court to Lockyer Rise. It has been closed off.

Thank you City of Armadale

Roleybushcare received a grant again this year from the City of Armadale. This keeps us going for another year to continue helping look after our bushland. The cost of running a group these days includes large amounts for insurance and licensing, all necessary in our ever changing world. We appreciate the support from BEWG.

 

Plant survey techniques workshop in Armadale region

The Wildflower Society of Western Australia’s Plant Survey Programme (PSP) is conducting a workshop in the Armadale region on plant survey techniques for all volunteers with an interest. Participants are welcome to join the PSP in this flora/vegetation workshop under the guidance of botanists and experienced survey volunteers.

The workshop will be held on Saturday 7th October with a theoretical component in the morning at the Environmental Centre, Armadale Settlers’ Common and field component in the afternoon in Bungendore Park.
