Our field dieback treatment day was held on 12 November in the Peet Road Bushland reserve.

A small group gathered at our November field day in the small but steep Peet Road Bushland reserve to inject jarrah, banksia and persoonia trees against dieback. It was hard work for everyone on such a hot day but our stalwart and intrepid volunteers got the job done.

Our enthusiastic propagation team (some of them seen in the picture) have been working hard on learning and developing our techniques on how best to take cuttings from local reserves and grow them on. Roleybushcare then uses the local species of trees and plants raised to revegetate our bush reserves in the winter months.

The next field day on Sunday 10 December will be injecting trees against dieback in the Hellenic reserve, Roleystone, starting at 9.00am and finishing around noon. The meeting place will be in Hellenic Road. More information and a map can be found on our website under events.
