With it being very much a time for holidays, Roleybushcare did not hold a field day in January. Our first field day of 2019 will be on Sunday 10th February when we will be injecting trees susceptible to dieback in the Quenda reserve in Roleystone.
This is a return to Quenda reserve which we were unable to treat last October because of wet weather.
New to dieback treatment then our field days are an ideal opportunity for you to find out how it works. Volunteers are always welcome and once you know how to inject you can borrow Roleybushcare’s equipment to treat your own trees.
On the 10th of February, we start at 9.00am and finish around noon. The meeting place will be in Glebe Road, Roleystone, behind St Christopher’s Church. Look out for the Roleybushcare trailer and signs. More information and a reserve map can be found elsewhere on our website under the Bush Reserves tab.
Morning tea is being kindly provided by St Christopher's Church.
Note: If the weather is unsafe we will cancel so please check the website on the morning of the field day at 8.00am for any cancellation notice or ring Tim on 0431 424 199.
